Tom Weaver has a reputation as a fair, efficient, and experienced attorney. Weaver has never behaved in a manner that has potentially jeopardized funding for the non-profit organizations, nor has he been asked to step down from his position as a board member for those non profit organizations. Weaver has been involved in the Kitsap County community and served as board member for various non-profit organizations. Without a doubt, Tom Weaver is an asset to the Bremerton area and the citizens he serves. While I value the breadth of his work as a an attorney, I am especially appreciative of the commitment he has made to the advancement of equality and ensuring access to the courts. I have known Tom Weaver for over six years and I trust his legal analysis without reservation. So, please accept my endorsement of Tom Weaver. He knows to find out what rules govern any administration and then follow those rules. Weaver has managed a successful law firm for decades and served as an officer and trustee of our Kitsap Bar Association. A judge not only manages the courtroom but must manage employees, budgets, relationships with other city officials, and a myriad of administrative details that are both mundane and important to the proper functioning of the court. Weaver's skill set and experience uniquely qualify him for this work as evidenced by his endorsements from the LOCAL bench and bar.Ī second aspect of due diligence is an examination of managerial experience. Bremerton is a one-judge court so the elected judge will need to hit the ground running without any backup or judicial support. Weaver routinely practiced criminal law which is the almost exclusive work done by a municipal court. He was always prepared, always advocated on behalf of his client, and most importantly, knew his subject matter inside and out. Weaver in my courtroom during my 15 years on the Superior Court Bench. I endorse Tom Weaver for Bremerton Municipal Court Judge and here is my due diligence. Let me know how I can help you.Kitsap Sun Letter to the Editor (10-16-21):Ī recent letter to the editor suggested that anyone endorsing a candidate for election should do due diligence before making such an endorsement. Another is the joy of having a client bring in their children and grandchildren to begin the process of learning, saving and investing - Well, this is the highest compliment I can receive. My biggest pleasure is helping that new retiree start the distribution phase of their lives and enjoy the benefits of all that hard work. Eleven years later, the opportunity came along to move back to Colorado, so I transitioned my Edward Jones practice to Greeley, Colorado in December of 2012. I attended Western Wyoming College and was the managing agent for First American Title Guaranty Company of Carbon County.Įdward Jones entered my life in March of 2001 and I moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming to begin my career helping educate clients to understand, accumulate and gain wealth. I grew up in Rangely, Colorado, and after graduation married and moved to Wyoming where I spent the next 30 years gaining education, friends and life experience, and learned to cook green chili. I cannot change the world, but I can make a difference to one life at a time. I volunteer - We must give back and help others in need. A little about myself: I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and aunt - I value family relationships and believe they are, at the core along with faith, what makes us who we are.
